Extracurriculars
at Moye School

At Moye School, learning extends beyond the classroom. Our extracurricular programs are designed to form well-rounded students by strengthening the body, enriching the mind, and nurturing the soul. Through athletics, clubs, and service opportunities, students develop discipline, character, and a deeper sense of purpose within a supportive Catholic community.

A classical Catholic education shows students that they are part of the great conversation that has taken place in the Western Tradition and the Church for the past three thousand years.

Athletics

A classical Catholic education seeks to form the whole person – mind, body and soul.   We shape students’ minds for their lifetime by sharing a love of learning, evidenced by our faculty’s joy in teaching their subjects.  We shape their souls through our Catholic faith, putting virtue at the heart of all our curriculum.  Finally, we see athletics as an integral part of the education experience as it cultivates self-discipline, mental fortitude, and teamwork.

First year Moye School students will be introduced to athletics through a physical education class which will be part of the daily curriculum. Athletic competition is currently scheduled to take place in the 2nd academic calendar school year where both 6th and 7th graders will be allowed to play together. Moye School athletes will compete in the Archdiocesan Interscholastic Athletic League (AIAL) where they will play other Catholic schools from San Antonio and the surrounding areas. The sports offered will be both in alignment with the sports offerings of AIAL and dependent on total student interest.
