Guidance for
Daily Life at Moye

The handbook below provides a clear outline of the expectations and standards that guide student life at Moye School. Rooted in faith and shaped by a commitment to formation, these guidelines support a structured and purposeful learning environment.

Students are expected to act with integrity, show respect for others, and take responsibility for their work and conduct. These expectations are not simply rules, but habits that help form character, discipline, and a deeper sense of purpose.

By following the standards outlined here, students contribute to a community ordered toward growth, focus, and the pursuit of what is good and true.

School Uniforms

Moye School students will be required to wear uniforms daily, and more formal uniforms will be required for weekly mass. The uniforms will be as follows.

Classical education uses methods of learning that have been tested and found useful over centuries including Socratic discussion, great books and classical texts, and the traditional liberal arts—including math, science, and the fine arts.

Everyday Uniform

Girls Uniforms
Burgundy polo shirt*, plaid skirt*, black shorts under the skirt, white crew socks and black close-toed shoes.

Boys Uniforms
Burgundy polo shirt*, gray pants or shorts*, black belt, white crew socks and black close-toed shoes.

Note that the girls tie will be purchased directly from Moye School.

Requirements for Shoes

Athletic shoes, saddle shoes, Mary Janes, penny loafers, boat shoes, and oxfords are acceptable.

Shoes must be safe for athletics, or students must have spare athletic shoes.

Flip-flops, Crocs®, sandals, and light-up or skate-type shoes are not permitted.

Additional Uniform Notes

Socks must be solid white and without visible logos. Jackets, windbreakers, and cardigans must be black or white.
